Ram’s New 2018 Limited Tungsten is its Most Luxurious Truck Ever
Ram will continue its tradition of building high-end, reliable trucks with the introduction of its new top-of-the-class 2018 Limited Tungsten Edition vehicle. The truck will include enhanced interior and exterior features as well as unique materials and colors.
The luxury truck segment has grown by leaps and bounds in the last nine years, but the Ram Tungsten truck reminds competitors that you just can’t top the original truck brand. The vehicle’s name communicates its industry-leading capacity–after all, tungsten is one of the toughest metals found in nature and is stronger than steel.
“The Limited Tungsten Edition is the highest trim level Ram has made available,” Mike Manley, head of Ram brand for FCA – Global, explained in a recent statement. “The new Tungsten Edition is an example of how Ram directly responds to customer input by offering the industry’s most luxurious pickup. Premium truck buyers will recognize the attention to detail, surrounded by quality materials.”
The new Ram Tungsten truck builds on the Limited trim’s legacy with an even higher level of sophistication, quality design and attention to detail.
The luxury begins inside with the addition of a Light Greystone headliner and ultra-premium “Natura Plus” Frost and Indigo-colored premium leather details throughout the cabin. Drivers and passengers will enjoy leather seats, a leather instrument panel, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and even a leather center arm rest and doors.
You’ll sink your feet into Indigo-colored carpeting with rubber floor mats (so you never have to worry about changing your rugged lifestyle to suit the Tungsten’s high-class sensibilities) and snap-out Frost and Indigo colored inserts. The cabin also boasts real wood components and unique badges to round out its uniquely sophisticated feel.
Outside, the 2018 Ram Limited Tungsten truck has an upgraded Tungsten Chrome grille with large R-A-M lettering to mimic the Limited’s original design in an upscale way. The new truck also includes a sport hood (limited to the 1500 edition only) and body-color matched bumpers, mirrors, door handles and running boards. Body-colored “R-A-M” lettering adorns the tailgate and Tungsten Chrome accents add expensive-looking detailing to the vehicle’s exterior.
The 2018 Ram Tungsten also comes with a range of upgraded features including air suspension, navigational radio, remote start, a backup camera, power adjustable pedals with memory, a heated steering wheel, front ventilated and heated seats, heated rear seats and the RamBox (limited to Heavy Duty 6-foot, 4-inch beds only). You’ll enjoy all this and more while rocking out to your favorite tunes via the vehicle’s standard 8.-4-inch Uconnect radio including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and SiriusXM Guardian.
