A Drag Pack Coming for the Dodge Challenger Hellcat?
Although Dodge has not released any information, it is speculated that the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Drag Pack will have about 75 percent of the same items that are included on the Dodge Demon. Some of these features incorporated on the Dodge Demon and in the Challenger Hellcat Drag Pack include the Air Grabber hood, Nitto tires, TransBrake, the Torque Reserve function, and the liquid-to-air charge air cooler chiller system. The Dodge Challenger Hellcat Drag Pack will not include the wide body fenders that the Dodge Demon has.
Furthermore, it has been speculated that the Drag Pack will have a “Drag Mode” option on the UConnect system that comes standard with the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Drivers would be able to turn on the “Drag Mode” option when they hit the drag strip, allowing the Challenger Hellcat Drag Pack to become even more powerful. It has also been rumored that drivers can expect a taller final drive ratio. The Dodge Challenger Hellcat Drag Pack is expected to increase its power output from 707 horsepower to 725 horsepower as well.
